International Women’s Day

At the Clinical Entrepreneur Programme (CEP), International Women’s Day is an opportunity to celebrate the women who are shaping the future of healthcare innovation. Their creativity, leadership and determination reflect the heart of our programme and the values we stand for: community, empowerment, inclusivity and collaboration.

Championing Women in Innovation

We are committed to reducing the gender gap in entrepreneurship by creating an environment where women not only participate but thrive. Every year, more female innovators join the programme, bringing bold ideas, lived experience and diverse perspectives that strengthen the entire healthcare innovation ecosystem.

We provides a safe, supportive and energising space for women on the programme to connect, share experiences and build confidence. Through peer-led mentoring, networking and expert sessions, the group fosters community and helps women accelerate their innovation journeys.

Celebrating Our Innovators

From clinicians to patients, scientists to founders, the women on the CEP are transforming patient care every day.

One of our many inspiring examples is Dr Tamsin Holland Brown, our Clinical Lead, whose leadership embodies the programme’s commitment to compassionate innovation. Alongside her are a growing number of patient, clinical entrepreneurs and dementia innovators, each addressing real‑world challenges and driving solutions that improve both healthcare systems and patient outcomes.

These women are not just developing ideas, they are changing pathways, shaping national conversations and empowering others to do the same. Their work reminds us that innovation is strongest when everyone has a seat at the table.
