We’re proud to celebrate Lauren Caulfield, NHS Clinical Entrepreneur (Cohort 9) and student midwife, who has been shortlisted for Student Midwife of the Year and Outstanding Contribution to Pregnancy Loss & Bereavement Care at the Royal College of Midwives Awards 2026.

Lauren’s journey began after the loss of her daughter Grace, inspiring her to create Gracefully—a free educational app designed to empower midwives with practical, compassionate bereavement care skills. Combining lived experience with evidence-based guidance, Gracefully offers resources, videos, and interactive tools to improve confidence and care for grieving families.
