Driving Innovation in Dementia Care
The Alzheimer’s Society Accelerator Programme is designed to fast-track the development of groundbreaking products and services that support people living with dementia. Whether you’re simplifying everyday tasks, applying novel technologies to overcome barriers in the dementia pathway, or repurposing existing solutions for new impact—this programme could be the catalyst your innovation needs.
What’s on Offer?
Successful applicants will benefit from a 12-month partnership that includes:
- Up to £100K in funding
- Expert support in innovation and dementia care
- Peer-to-peer learning through the Innovation Collective
- Co-creation opportunities with people living with dementia
- Guidance throughout the application process
Note: Alzheimer’s Society seeks a return on investment, which may include revenue share, equity, or other negotiated terms.

Who Should Apply?
The programme is open to UK-registered businesses with early-stage innovations that address challenges across the dementia care pathway—from early diagnosis to end-of-life support. Both digital and physical solutions are welcome.
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be aged 18 or older
- Have a UK-registered business
- Be developing or deploying their innovation in the UK
- Have a detailed business plan
- Have a prototype at Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 6/7
- Be open to negotiating a return on investment
