This week’s Dementia Innovation Celebration Event at Hale House was a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when collaboration meets purpose. Hosted by the Alzheimer’s Society, the evening brought together pioneering programmes and partners dedicated to transforming dementia care through innovation. Among them was the Dementia Innovators Programme, a joint initiative between the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme and the Alzheimer’s Society.
A Partnership with Purpose
Launched in 2024, the Dementia Innovators Programme was born from a shared vision: to empower those working in health and social care to develop impactful, scalable solutions that improve the lives of people living with dementia. Through a rigorous selection process, ten exceptional innovators were chosen to receive tailored support, mentorship, and access to the extensive networks and resources of both partner organisations.
This partnership exemplifies the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme’s commitment to nurturing innovation from the ground up—supporting clinicians, carers, and entrepreneurs who are closest to the challenges faced by people with dementia and their families.

Meet the Innovators
The event was a celebration of innovators from across Alzheimer’s society to network and collaborate. Some of the innovators in attendance from the Dementia Innovations Programme were:
Oliver Asha
Founder of Capacity Vault, a platform that protects users’ legal, financial, and medical wishes. Using AI-driven interviews, it applies the correct legal tests, records capacity decisions securely, and stores them permanently for future legal clarity.
Conan O’Neill
Founder of NeUro, a SaaS platform making advanced dementia care accessible to care providers. NeUro offers a flexible subscription model with full support, enabling clinical triage, microbiology, and prescribing services as part of a sustainable care pathway.
Each of these innovators brings a unique perspective and solution to the table, united by a common goal: to make life better for those affected by dementia.
Dr Tamsin Holland Brown, Co Clinical Lead, NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme said: “At the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme, we are driven by a shared passion to support innovations that truly make a difference. Our collaboration with the Alzheimer’s Society is a powerful example of what’s possible when we unite around a common goal: improving the lives of people living with dementia. It’s through partnerships like these that we can support forward-thinking solutions.”
Looking Ahead
As the programme continues, the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme remains deeply committed to supporting innovation in dementia care. By fostering partnerships like this one with the Alzheimer’s Society, we are not only accelerating the development of new solutions but also building a community of changemakers who are reshaping the future of dementia support
