The NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme (CEP) is proud to announce the return of its flagship event, The Big Pitch 2025, taking place on Thursday, 19th June 2025 in London. This landmark occasion marks the launch of the programme’s ninth cohort and celebrates the extraordinary achievements of Clinical Entrepreneurs from across the country.
The Big Pitch is more than just an event — it is a national platform for showcasing the future of healthcare. Bringing together NHS leaders, policymakers, innovators, and industry partners, the day will be filled with powerful conversations, inspiring ideas, and a shared commitment to transforming care through innovation.
This year’s programme promises a rich and engaging experience. Attendees will hear from senior leaders including Professor Sir Stephen Powis, explore the latest thinking in digital-first care and innovation access, and witness 20 entrepreneurs pitch their groundbreaking solutions live on stage. Alongside the main sessions, expert-led satellite discussions will offer practical insights into US expansion and mentoring support for innovators. The exhibition zone will feature a diverse range of innovations from Clinical Entrepreneurs, NHSE programme participants, and CEP partners, creating a vibrant space for connection and collaboration.
Reflecting on the spirit of the event, Professor Tony Young OBE, Clinical Lead for the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme said:

The event is delivered in collaboration with the National Institute for Health Research, SBRI Healthcare, the NHS Innovation Accelerator, and the Health Innovation Network. Together, these partnerships reinforce the programme’s mission to support and scale innovation that improves patient care and strengthens the health system.
The Big Pitch 2025 is an invitation-only event, welcoming Clinical Entrepreneurs, programme alumni, NHS and DHSC stakeholders, industry representatives, and strategic partners. It will run from 11:30 AM to 6:30 PM, concluding with a networking and drinks reception to celebrate the day’s achievements.
