I am passionate and focused on developing innovative, sustainable solutions that enhance, talent development, employee well-being, retention, and productivity, leading to long-term success and positive patient outcomes.

Driven by my passion for improving patient outcomes and healthcare systems, I founded Sustenance Development Consultants Ltd, which focuses on developing cutting-edge solutions that integrate personalised medicine and advanced healthcare technologies. Sustenance Development Consultants (SDC) is dedicated to, providing, developing, managing and retaining local and international specialists staff, and skilled professionals.

Our innovative tailored approach to healthcare management integrates a stern talent acquisition process, professional development programmes, comprehensive cross-cultural adaptability and integration solutions, employee well-being initiatives, and guaranteed staff retention schemes.

SDC’s approach aims to support and resolve critical challenges such as acute specialist staff shortages (doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals), training, management, and employee retention in the health sector. The urgent need to address these challenges, especially after the Covid-19 pandemic, cannot be underestimated. The escalating costs associated with employee health issues, including absenteeism, have direct financial impact and work output on healthcare providers. I believe the habitual ‘one-size-fits-all’ models are no longer effective due to the different cultures coming together at the workplace. Our specialised Hybrid Drip Application Systems (HDAS) provide clients the most favourable outcomes, by providing them with the right approach, promptly at the right place. Sustenance Development Consultants’ innovative approach aims to reduce recruitment time and eliminate barriers that hinder the process of talent acquisition, development, management, and retention.

I found out about the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme whilst studying at Ulster University. Through the programme’s support, I aim to gain valuable insights and practical advice on overcoming the challenges of scaling a healthcare startup. I seek to learn from experienced mentors how to navigate the complexities of the healthcare industry, secure funding, and build strategic partnerships. Ultimately, I hope to develop a robust roadmap for growth that aligns with my vision of empowering a diverse workforce while delivering high-quality healthcare services. I am thrilled to be part of the programme which has provided me with valuable connections with like-minded individuals and I fully embrace the mentorship opportunities. I highly recommend the programme to others because of its wonderful, rich, supportive community.

Looking into the future, my ambitions are to network and build strategic partnerships with healthcare organisations, academic institutions, and industry leaders to gain access to the market and broaden the company’s reach. I am looking to expand the company’s operations nationally and explore international markets to provide tailored healthcare services to a wider audience. I will also invest in research and development to stay at the forefront of healthcare innovations and integrate the latest findings into service offerings to ensure cutting-edge solutions for clients.

Innovation is crucial in healthcare as it drives improvements in patient care, enhances efficiency, and addresses emerging challenges. It leads to the development of advanced medical technologies, personalised treatment plans, and streamlined processes, ultimately improving health outcomes. Innovation also plays a key role in reducing costs, increasing accessibility to care, and improving the overall patient experience. By fostering a culture of continuous improvement and embracing new ideas, healthcare organisations can stay ahead of evolving health needs, ensure high standards of care, and empower healthcare professionals to deliver the best possible outcomes for their patients.
