HSJ Award Win for NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme: Celebrating Excellence in Healthcare Education.


We are thrilled to announce that the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme (CEP), delivered by Anglia Ruskin University (ARU), has won the prestigious 2024 HSJ Partnership Award for Best Education Programme for the NHS. The award ceremony, held last night, recognised outstanding contributions to healthcare education and innovation.

The HSJ Partnership Awards, now in its seventh year, attracted an impressive 228 entries. From this pool, 188 projects and individuals made it to the final shortlist. The sheer volume and exceptional quality of submissions underscore the remarkable levels of innovation and care continually evolving within the UK’s healthcare system.

Established in 2016, the NHS CEP is an initiative delivered by Anglia Ruskin University in collaboration with NHS England. Its mission is clear: equip healthcare professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to drive innovation. To date, over 1,000 individuals have benefited from the program, creating a ripple effect of positive change across the healthcare landscape.

The success of the CEP wouldn’t be possible without the support of over 50 partners, including industry leaders and NHS stakeholders. Together, they have fostered a diverse and inclusive community and ecosystem for the next generation of healthcare innovators.
