NHS launches new innovation service

NHS England and Improvement have launched the NHS Innovation Service . This tool aims to support innovators to take their ideas to reality by access support every step of the way..

The NHS Innovation Service is led by the Accelerated Access Collaborative (AAC) and has been developed to accelerate the spread of high impact innovations into the NHS.

The NHS Innovation Service provides access to coordinated support and guidance from leading organisations with expertise in the development and widespread adoption of health innovation. The service will help healthcare innovators work with the NHS and get the support they need to get their innovation, at any stage, to clinicians and patients faster. You can find out more about what it can offer innovators on the ‘about the service’ section of the website.

The service aims to provide:

  • Relevant information about funding, regulation, and maturing innovations.
  • Matching needs to the relevant support organisations who can help you take the next step.
  • End-to-end innovation support, guiding you through the journey from idea to adoption.

During this public beta phase, users will be asked to provide feedback about their experience of using the NHS Innovation Service, and the team will continue to test and improve it based on this feedback.

The tool can be access at: https://innovation.nhs.uk/
